Get Leadership Coaching
You may hate to admit it, even to yourself, but from a leadership perspective, are there still a lot of things you don’t know yet? Do you hate to deal with bullies and struggle with assertiveness? Together, we can build the structure you enjoy to reduce feelings of anxiety, increase your motivation, and get you noticed by the right people in the right way. Ultimately this should make your confidence soar.
It’s not uncommon for today’s best and brightest leaders to experience emotional challenges. Feeling superb one moment. Only to experience a sudden shift to feeling stressed out and anxious, or to down, depressed, and unmotivated in the next. Perhaps this occurs at a less than conscious level of awareness, but it may also be a fact that . . .
“You get what you focus on.” – Vannoy & Ross
Why not establish a mental set and practice it until it becomes routine. Don’t try to be objective, ignoring emotions you and others are experiencing. Emotions are data that should be utilized to assist you to make better decisions. You might rely on your instincts when insufficient information is available. But you could just as easily rely on a mental set that you have carefully crafted specifically for times like this. Rely on your mindset during high-performance opportunities and to successfully guide you through stressful situations.
More than a means of getting ahead and gaining power, leadership must be understood as a serious professional and personal responsibility. At the same time, it is important to know what talents you possess that you bring to the leadership table. Do you know what strengths you possess? Every leader possesses her/his own unique set of talents. According to the Gallup Organization, “we spend too much time focusing on our weaknesses, trying to make them stronger rather than recognizing our strengths.”
When you focus on your weaknesses, you miss out on utilizing what you do best for your organization. You misunderstand “your people” for the organization’s “profit and loss statement.” Step up your leadership efforts by enhancing your personal awareness of what you do best.
“Mitt Romney’s compulsion to show teeth . . . demonstrated at every turn his utter insensitivity toward half the electorate . . . and he himself conceded, just how important emotional intelligence has become what we look for in leaders.” – Sylvia Ann Hewlett
Lead from the Heart
Promotions are likely on hold during the pandemic. However, people are watching you now more closely than ever. How your performance rallies people around you now, or not, may make you the leader you’ve always dreamed of being, and others really need. Psychological leadership coaching may provide you with the “look and feel” you believe in.
Find yourself. Make a connection with your inner leader to “enhance your leadership presence“ as a way into your next promotion. Connecting the dots and creating a clear strategy forward with a leadership coach can have its advantages. Talk confidentially with someone who understands what you’re going through, and has a unique perspective on the underlying psychology of leadership.
This collaboration might be the resource you need at this time. Leadership coaching will put an exceptionally effective point on your strategy. Others will notice the difference and you’ll feel more confident and secure in the process. Ensure your future unfolds in your favor. Don’t just lead.
The impact is immediate when we take a leadership approach and start thinking like a leader. This model of thinking is broad in scope; therefore, it begins to impact all of our decisions. From the smallest to the most significant communication. How we greet people, to how and why we interact with them. Your presence in every meeting throughout the day, to your prized vision of the future.
“Leadership combined with Performance Enhancement assessments will open up a fast track to your future.
You’ll discover more about your uniqueness and about your own identity. You’ll be able to align your decisions to your values. Then integrate that knowledge into your real-time situations.” – Richard W. Anton, M.A., B.A., Dip Ed
The Psychological Coaching Advantage
We seek to add value to you & your organization in ways that regular leadership training does not address. Courses and workshops are training mechanisms. They can be valuable in terms of initial learning but often fall short in enabling leaders to reach their full potential. A psychological approach allows us to help you realize more value.
Research shows that we forget most of what we learn in courses. Secure your new learning. We’ll return to the content repeatedly. You’ll practice and develop new skills (as opposed to learning about them).
Courses are typically too short of entrenching new behaviors. It takes time and repetition to ensure that new habits “take.” Our program lasts (on average) 6 months to a year to allow you as a leader to truly develop new skills. From a practical perspective, your efforts will also fit better into your schedule. They are regular, but not as time-intensive as a course.
Generic courses do not address an individual’s experiences or unique psychology. The coaching approach does just that through one-on-one orientation/educational sessions. We provide individual, confidential coaching sessions, and optional group sessions. We help each leader (both individually and as part of a team). This approach can assist you in capitalizing on your unique strengths and the diverse ways you manifest new skills.
Strengths-focused Leadership Assessment
o Focus on Strengths (as opposed to problems only) first ensures we build on a strong foundation. Next, you’ll realize an increase in your self-awareness, self-esteem, and self-confidence. You’ll now be better situated to ensure that a much more constructive approach is applied when conflict arises.
o We utilize a comprehensive Assessments Results Profile. It is an essential tool in determining the focus for EQ (emotional intelligence) development in your coaching sessions. A final primary key to success exists. It is the integration of these new strategies and skills into the leader’s day to day leadership, communication, and interactions.
Working with each member of a team separately on their plan is an advantage. This approach generates personal accountability to take action on specific issues and add further value.
We’ve been providing our present clients with Zoom sessions & Coaching by Phone throughout the COVID pandemic with great success. These sessions are both convenient & confidential. Try something new & explore one for yourself 🙂
If you’d prefer an in-person session, know that we also offer this alternative at all of our locations. Sanitisation and proper distancing procedures are in place for your safety and comfort. Wearing a mask is mandatory in reception and all hallway areas, but NOT in our private offices.
