The Power of Vision

If you have a desire to excel in life. At anything at all. You’ve got to utilize your imagination.

If you’re a golfer for example, and hold a desire to improve, even to become competitive, you’ll utilize all resources to your advantage, right? Since you’re living at home, your living expenses are covered. You likely work at a golf course, which affords you the opportunity to play, practice and improve your game, daily. You know about local tournaments and you enter. As a result you learn how your game stacks up to others who aim at competing.

Accessing a swing coach is essential. What about a mental coach? Spend time with mental rehearsal. Imagaine playing each hole on the course in sequence. Then imagine playing the entire round in reverse order. Use your imagination to play each shot from tee to green and then again from green to tee. Now visualize making 18 one-putts on all 18 holes. Do the same with your wedges, and your drives.

Alignment of Values and Purpose

  • Both concepts emphasize the importance of aligning one’s actions with core values and purpose. As Glimpse unfolds, you will read the subtle yet valuable process of defining your vision, which can further conceived as identifying the path that leads to self-actualization.

Your core values and purpose are the moral and ethical valuees, the lenses you must use to look at life. These are what guide you, not only vision, not only to achieve, but to achieve a life to be proud of. One that makes you happy. Make sure you enjoy your life, and not merely make money. Read Glimpse as slowly as you can. Write your own thoughts and ideas in the margins. Underline everything meaninful to you. Circle KEY concepts. Make this a critical moment for yourself.
